The Governors' Action plan II for Healthy and Resilient Coasts was Offically Released at Capitol Hill Oceans Week in June! This is a 5-year plan intending to build and expand on the progress made in the first action plan. See the plan here:

Relevant Past Documents to Inform Future Work
Some of the work already done for the Alliance or by Alliance partners will be relevant as we develop goals for the next stage of the Alliance. A couple of these are:
Community Workshop Summary Report (pdf, 1080kb)- released August 2006, many of the stakeholder ideas are still relevant now.
Needs Assessment for the NOAA Gulf Coast Services Center - released January 2008, GCSC Interviewed people throughout Gulf, held focus groups, etc. PIT members should skim headings on pages 20-55 to find the areas of interest to your teams.
